02 OpenArt Plan details

OpenArt Logo

Free

Pricing: $0 (Freemium)

Best for:

Risk-free testing and occasional prompt experiments before committing to specialized features

The Free Plan is really an opportunity for people to try out the entire OpenArt ecosystem at zero risk, and is perfect for the newcomer who wants to be curious about what the OpenArt ecosystem has to offer, as well as for the occasional user that just wants to play around with things. The Free Plan gives users a starter pack of 40 credits that they can use once, in addition to daily free credits that will allow them to create using some of the most common generation models such as Stable Diffusion XL. In terms of usability, this is where the magic happens; you can run up to four models simultaneously so you can do A/B comparisons between your prompts and models. One of the great values of the Free Plan is that all of the images you generate while using the Free Plan will be private. That being said, there are limitations to the number of credits you have available, and you will be limited from accessing the high-end premium features (custom models and advanced video creation). The Free Plan is perfect to see how many models are included in the OpenArt model library, and get an idea of the quality of those models prior to spending money on the OpenArt ecosystem.

Essential

Pricing: $14 / user / month

Best for:

Creators needing reliable access to premium model quality and basic limits on personalized assets

The Essential Plan represents the true start of your paid experience with OpenArt as it was created specifically for the typical hobbyist that is prepared to go beyond trial limitations and begin to take advantage of premium features. In addition to providing 4,000 credits per month, the Essential Plan will provide immediate access to the complete set of over 100 premium image and video models that are at the heart of what makes OpenArt so powerful. This plan will also allow you to have access to other essential production tools such as the "Powerful Image Editing Suite" and "One-Click Story Creation." Most importantly, this plan allows you to have access to the most important professional features of OpenArt, including limits on "Consistent Character Creation" (up to eight characters per month) and "Personalized Model Training" (up to two models per month), in addition to an 8-generation parallel workflow. The Essential Plan provides an ideal solution for creators that produce content on a regular basis, but do not require the industrial-scale volume of content production necessary for continuous client work.

Main features

4,000 credits/month

Access to 100+ premium image/video models

8 parallel generations + 8 consistent characters

OpenArt Logo

Advanced

Pricing: $29 / user / month

Best for:

Freelancers prioritizing high-speed output and complex asset management using bulk creation tools

The Advanced plan is a tier designed specifically for serious freelancers and professional content creators looking to scale their production, and fulfill multiple client needs. With an increase from 2,400 to 12,000 monthly credits, this will enable you to create more video clips and significantly enhance your character/model capacity (up to 24 consistent characters, 6 customizable models). The Advanced plan also allows for a 16 parallel generation option, which enables you to complete workflows considerably faster than lower plans and minimize time spent waiting when using the tool extensively. In addition to generating a larger number of items, the 'advanced' designation provides access to additional, powerful features such as advanced model training options and bulk creation options; enabling you to produce hundreds of images within a single batch. This plan is intended for individuals relying on AI-generated artwork to complete client and commercial based projects and require a combination of variety and control to consistently meet project-based requirements at a professional level.

Main features

12,000 credits/month

16 parallel generations for fast workflow

OpenArt Logo

Team

Pricing: $35 / user / month

Best for:

Agencies whose main requirement is shared resources and centralized billing across multiple employee accounts

The Team plan is specifically designed for those agencies and creative studios who are looking at how their team can collaborate and work efficiently, as opposed to how many credits an individual user has available. In contrast to the other plans which have credit limits based on the number of users, the Team plan allows for a pool of credits (12,000 credits per seat) so that when the entire team has to access credits, they will be used by the team where needed rather than being limited due to individual use or unused. A key part of what makes the Team plan work is the administration side of things. As such, the Team plan includes a centralized team workspace where all team members can share their assets, create custom models and characters and there are extensive tools to manage team member roles and permission levels; both of these aspects help ensure that each contributor works within the parameters of brand standards and project continuity. The Team plan also provides priority support; this helps streamline problem solving and ultimately helps teams get back to working on their projects. Ultimately, if you have a creative workflow that involves multiple team members and shared client assets, the Team plan is the scalable infrastructure to make it happen.

Main features

Pooled credits per seat

Team workspace for asset sharing

Team role and permission management

OpenArt Logo

Infinite

Pricing: $56 / user / month

Best for:

Power users requiring zero-wait production flow with maximal parallel generation capacity and top-tier support

This is the highest level of service available with the Infinite Plan, and it offers total commitment to speed, volume, and mastery of your OpenArt experience (the ultimate power user). Designed for high-volume producers such as business users or individual producers who can't afford to have their workflow interrupted by long waits; this plan provides 24,000 credits each month and allows for up to 32 concurrent generations at once, enabling a continuous stream of creativity regardless of how busy things get. All of the previously mentioned limit increases apply in this plan as well. As stated above, this plan doubles the number of consistent characters and the number of customizable models to 48 and 12 respectively. In addition to these large increases in asset generation capabilities, the Infinity Plan also includes priority support and unlimited use of select models. While the priority support may be beneficial for many customers, I believe that the unlimited use of select models will be of the greatest benefit to high-volume producers. With this feature, you are able to generate certain basic models at no additional cost using unlimited credits. This greatly benefits high-volume producers who use the model repeatedly. If you see OpenArt as an essential part of your production process, then the Infinite Plan provides the best combination of capacity and dependability.

Wonder

Pricing: $240 / user / month

Best for:

Studios focused on professional video and large-scale asset creation with unlimited use of specialized, high-cost models

The Wonder Plan is the most advanced of the plans offered by OpenArt; a specialized plan for high-volume production houses, large studios, or artists seeking the highest possible level of artistic detail and scale in their work. This plan is a true beast, as it provides an amazing 106,000 credits every single month, along with all the maximum benefit plan features from the Infinite Plan. The main difference between this plan and the other plans (like the Infinite) is the direct emphasis on high-end video and image generation and the ability to utilize these models to generate cinematic results at current generation levels. The unlimited use of top-tier/state-of-the-art models such as Kling 1.0, Kling 1.5, and FLUX.1 Pro are the models that generate the current generation cinematic results; having no credit anxiety when they are utilized is a major operational advantage. Additionally, a 10% discount on additional credit packs indicates its focus on users who may need to exceed the huge monthly allowance of credits included in this standard allowance.

Main features

106,000 credits/month

Unlimited use of high-end models (e.g., Kling O1, FLUX.2 Pro)

10% discount on additional credit packs

What is the difference between OpenArt’s Free and Essential?

On the Free tier, you will have an extremely tight budget of only one time, and limited daily credits, designed for simple explorations using standard models such as SDXL. This is a great sandbox for testing simple prompts, learning the user interface, and to test out OpenArt without risk.

As soon as you decide to go from the Free tier to the Essential tier, OpenArt will no longer be a sandbox for creativity, but a true creative tool. There is a massive increase to 4,000 monthly credits with the Essential tier, and this will eliminate all of the "credit anxiety" that free users experience. More importantly, there is access to the entire library of over 100 additional premium image and video models on the Essential tier, providing higher quality and far greater creative possibilities. Additionally, the Essential tier provides access to essential pipeline features including Consistent Character Creation (up to 8 per month), and the capability to train models to fit your specific needs , both of which are completely inaccessible while on the Free tier.

For anyone who has moved past the "I'm curious about what this can do" phase of their creative process, we would highly recommend the Essential tier; in our opinion, the ability to create consistent characters, and use the high-quality premium models available through the Essential tier are absolute necessities for any serious creative project.

What is the difference between OpenArt’s Advanced and Infinite?

OpenArt's Advanced vs. OpenArt's Infinite pricing plans differ in terms of speed and capacity to process workloads.

In short, the Advanced Plan will be an excellent "work horse" for the professional freelance designer and artist. With a total of 12,000 monthly credits and with a maximum of 16 parallel generations, the Advanced Plan provides ample capacity for steady client projects and quick iterations on multiple concepts.

While the Infinite Plan does provide an additional 12,000 credits per month (for a total of 24,000), it removes the generation speed limitations altogether, allowing for a maximum of 32 parallel generations. We believe that the removal of these generation speed limitations greatly increases the capabilities of the platform, transforming it into a "production engine" rather than simply a powerful design tool.

Therefore, the creation speed becomes a significant advantage for freelancers or small business owners using OpenArt as a primary resource for creating all of their visual content, and for those users, we believe the cost of the Infinite Plan will be well worth it for the productivity and time savings alone. Additionally, the Infinite Plan also includes priority support and unlimited use of select models, providing additional peace of mind and free use of key functionality of the platform.

What is the difference between OpenArt’s Wonder and Team?

OpenArt's Wonder and Team pricing options represent a major divide in terms of individual artistic capacity vs. corporate operating capability. The Wonder option is essentially the ultimate creative playground for the solo high-volume artist or studio owner who prioritizes producing large quantities of content at the highest possible quality. With a whopping 106,000 monthly credits you have unlimited access to all of the high-end, most expensive models including Kling and FLUX.2 Pro.

While we believe that this option is ideal for those looking for cinematic quality in their productions and want to be able to produce as much as they can, we believe that the Team option will solve a collaborative user problem. The primary shift from a focus on individual volume to shared workflow is achieved through the pooling of credits by user, which is key to maximizing efficiency when working collaboratively with others within your agency.

While the Team option does not provide the same level of credits as the Wonder option nor does it provide unlimited access to the top models; the Team option does provide the necessary back-office capabilities for administration, including shared assets, role management and a shared work space.

While we feel the Team option is mandatory for organizations with multiple users and collaboration is required due to the importance of consistent projects and centralized billing; the Wonder option is ideal for the single creative visionary who wants to maximize their own creative potential. Ultimately, we would recommend selecting between these two options based on the number of users in your organization and the needs of your organization, rather than simply the total amount of credits.

Which OpenArt plan should I choose for my business?

If your business is primarily an individual-based organization i.e., one person doing all of the design work as a high volume freelance graphic artist or a small boutique design firm with one or two power users we would recommend going with either the Infinite or Wonder pricing plans. Why? Those plans offer a maximum amount of creative horsepower per user and thus provide tremendous amounts of credit (24,000+ per month) and incredible speed in that it allows up to 32 simulations to run at the same time. In our minds, the Infinite plan provides the best balance of price and speed for a single-user production engine.

If your "business" is a multi-seat advertising agency, marketing department or other large studio with three or more people working together to share designs, models, etc... then the Team pricing plan is the clear choice. The Team pricing plan was created with collaboration in mind providing pooled credits for each member of your team as well as shared workspaces and administrative tools such as role management.

In our opinion, the structure provided by the Team pricing plan provides essential elements for maximizing the efficiency and consistency of your brand across multiple designers regardless of the fact that the individual credit counts may be lower than those provided under the Wonder pricing plan. Therefore, we suggest determining where your primary focus lies between volume (go with Infinite/Wonder) and collaboration/structure (go with Team).

Is Magnific (ex. Freepik) better than OpenArt?

Freepik is better when your end product needs to be highly predictable and brand safe under a tight deadline, particularly for teams who are operating in a very structured and defined design workflow. When you begin with high-quality professional assets (vectors, PSDs) you will consistently get good results without needing to iterate back-and-forth through a lot of iterations.

OpenArt is better when you require a high level of original creativity and you have no problem treating prompts like a form of art. If however, your team's main barrier to progress is how quickly they can complete projects and not generating enough new ideas, then Freepik will likely feel much more readily shippable than OpenArt.

Which tool is better than OpenArt ?

When exploring alternatives to OpenArt, the decision often revolves around prioritizing ease of use, integration capability, post-production fidelity, or commercial safety. OpenArt excels at model aggregation and consistent character creation, but other tools offer specialized strengths.

For the everyday creator needing quick edits, Picsart, the all-in-one consumer editing suite, provides a massive library of templates, stickers, and a seamless flow from AI generation to social media-ready edits.

If your team requires deep integration into custom applications, the multimodal API platform, Gemini, is the primary choice, allowing developers to embed fast, scalable AI vision and generation models directly into their workflow.

When your primary need is quality control over existing assets, the dedicated enhancement tool, LetsEnhance, excels at upscaling, denoising, and improving image resolution for pristine final output.

Finally, for total peace of mind regarding licensing, the commercially safe stock library, Shutterstock, is essential, guaranteeing indemnity and offering a vast library alongside their own generative AI.

Does OpenArt have a free plan?

Yes, it does - A "Free" plan is offered by OpenArt, and it is a great starting point for people interested in generating images. The organization appears to understand that creators will want to evaluate the functionality of a platform (including its potential cost) prior to committing their money. I believe this is a good business decision, as it permits users to test the full OpenArt User Interface and the primary Generation Workflow.

With the "Free" plan you receive a starter pack of one time trial credits, and additional free credits are available to be used each day. Therefore, you can use the Free plan to create a variety of basic models such as Stable Diffusion XL over an extended period. With immediate access to creating and experimenting with your creative prompts, you will be able to see the quality of the generated artwork for yourself.

In addition, when using the "Free" plan, your artwork created during this tier is private. I would recommend using the "Free" plan to create as much artwork and experiment as possible; in my opinion, this is the best method to determine whether or not OpenArt produces images at the speed and model quality that meets your individual creative expectations prior to paying for a paid subscription.

What are the limitations of OpenArt's free trial?

We found that the limits of the free version of OpenArt were created to encourage those who will heavily use the service to pay. The first limit is that you can only create as many things as you have credits; you get some credits when you sign up, but after they run out you get a small amount each day. As a result, you won’t be able to test your ideas with enough frequency to generate significant amounts of data. I believe that it will make users extremely careful about what prompts they give, which would slow down the cycle of creating new ideas (iterating).

Additionally, free users do not have access to the company's more advanced generation models, and the images generated using the basic models are generally lower resolution (typically $512 \times 512$ pixels), and/or limited to fewer generation steps than the premium models. There is an intentional barrier between free users and the premium, high-quality models, such as those capable of generating photorealistic or cinematic images.

The most restrictive feature of the Free plan is that free users cannot participate in features that require that assets remain available over time, such as Consistent Character Creation and Personalized Model Training. These are the tools that allow users to take multiple random images and develop them into a single creative project. I would recommend that any user planning to continue to need consistency recognize that the Free Plan has real barriers.

06 Client’s review on OpenArt pricing

  • Benjamin Kester

“I started on the Free plan, just testing the waters, but once I switched to Essential, the value exploded. Honestly, for just $7 a month (on the annual plan!), getting access to the entire library of premium models completely changed my creative output. Other platforms charge that much just for a basic model. The fact that the credits roll over each month is a huge relief; I don't feel pressured to churn out filler content just to use them up. I recommend the Essential plan to any serious hobbyist, it’s the best entry point into high-quality AI art on the market.”

  • Isabella Chen

“The Infinite plan is totally worth the investment for my small design agency. We were constantly hitting walls with our previous platform due to slow generation speeds. OpenArt's 32 parallel generations fixed that instantly. The price per credit is fantastic at this volume, and the fact that we get Priority Support built in? That’s priceless when we’re on a tight client deadline. It’s expensive, yes, but it dramatically boosts our efficiency, so it pays for itself.”

  • Marcus Vance

“I was running up huge bills on a competitor site, often spending over $50 a month just buying credit packs. Switching to OpenArt's Advanced plan was an immediate cost-saver. Getting 12,000 credits automatically every month, plus the capacity for 24 consistent characters, means my workflow for my webcomic is now completely streamlined and predictable. I particularly appreciate the bulk creation feature; it saves me hours. The pricing structure is incredibly transparent, no hidden fees for using specific high-res models, which was a constant headache before.”

07 OpenArt Q&A

What are the various paid membership tiers available on OpenArt?

There are paid membership options in four tiers that fit the needs of four different types of users: the hobbyist, the freelance artist, the heavy-duty user, and the large agency or team.

Starting from the bottom, the first level is the Essential plan, which is a step-up for anyone looking to leave casual trial-and-error behind and move into the world of using a wide variety of premium models. We feel this plan is great because it will unlock all 100+ premium models and give you a minimum amount of credits each month (4,000 credits). The next step up is the Advanced plan, made for freelancers who want to be able to generate content quickly and consistently. This plan will give you significantly more credits (12,000) than the essential plan as well as more parallel generations (16), so you can predictably produce a high volume of content fast.

Then you have the Infinite plan, the highest-tier plan for the individual who needs an uninterrupted workflow , doubling your credits (24,000) and increasing the number of generations you can run at once (32 parallel generations) as well as giving you Priority Support. At the very top of the OpenArt membership plans is the Wonder plan, which has both the most credits (106,000) and unlimited access to models such as Kling, providing the largest value proposition to high-end video creators.

OpenArt also offers a separate Team plan, which is geared towards companies with multiple employees working together to create projects. This plan is geared less toward creating a single employee's volume of work and more toward allowing multiple employees to share a pool of credits and workspaces to better collaborate.

How does using OpenArt benefit digital artists and content creators?

OpenArt is beneficial to digital artists and content creators because of its focus on workflow efficiency and model diversity. Platforms that provide all-in-one ecosystems can be limited in terms of access to your creative options; OpenArt provides digital artists with access to more than 100 premium generation models, which include the most current offerings from Stable Diffusion and other models. This allows digital artists the ability to explore new aesthetic styles without having to subscribe to multiple platforms.

In addition to the creative freedom provided by OpenArt, content creators will experience significant time saving benefits when utilizing the features available on the platform. One-click story and fast parallel generation capabilities (most notably at the Advanced and Infinite tiers) allow users to produce dozens of variants for social media or marketing campaigns in just minutes, rather than hours. As a result of these features, we believe that OpenArt has a unique ability to rapidly turn the time-consuming process of creating multiple versions of a visual product into a production pipeline that creates content at breakneck speeds.

Overall, we believe that OpenArt is a tool that significantly decreases the amount of friction there is between conceptualizing a creative idea and executing it as a visually appealing finished product. If a person's income is dependent upon producing visually appealing content quickly and efficiently, we highly recommend taking advantage of OpenArt's many tools and features to increase your output and productivity.

For whom is OpenArt considered an essential tool?

High volume content studios, agencies, and SMB's (small to medium sized businesses) that depend on digital marketing and visual storytelling are who OpenArt provides as a "must have" resource. How? Because OpenArt offers a solution to both cost and scale. The ability to create Consistent Characters for multiple scenes and/or a Personalized Model that strictly adheres to a company's style guide is not a luxury, but a necessary requirement for the commercial work of a single artist or small design team. This necessity is seen in OpenArt's Partner Base; including digital media companies such as Creatify.AI and VidAU.AI, whose entire business model is built around rapidly generating high quality video ads and content. These companies utilize OpenArt to avoid the significant time and money required by traditional design methods to allow them to create marketing assets on demand.

The Essential and Advanced tiers are necessary for Startups needing to quickly prototype visual content for pitches or create social media campaigns without an in-house Art Director. We believe that any business with a consistent need for new, branded, and diverse visuals will find OpenArt to be quickly evolving from being a "nice to have" resource to becoming an indispensable daily production resource.

Is an OpenArt paid subscription a worthwhile investment for a creator?

Will paying for an OpenArt subscription be worth it to a creator? Whether or not an OpenArt subscription is worth paying for as a creator, ultimately will depend upon how much of a producer you've become in terms of creating versus exploring what you can do. The free version may be enough if you're producing content sporadically. For anyone who produces content regularly, whether that's on a daily basis for a client project, a daily social media update, or when doing multiple iterations of a single piece of art, then the paid versions will make sense for three major reasons. First, there will be greatly increased speed in terms of large amounts of content being produced at one time (up to 32 on the Infinite tier) which means less waiting around for content to generate.

Second, the entire library of premium models will be available to use, allowing for immediate improvement in both the quality and creativity of the content you produce. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, you'll get access to key pipeline tools such as Consistent Character Creation and Personalized Model Training. These two features are required to maintain consistency as a professional.

In our opinion, the Essential and Advanced tiers of the paid version are well worth investing in the moment you begin earning income from your creations due to the fact that the time saved by using these tiers and the quality improvements made to your work will far exceed the cost of the subscription each month. We would suggest to any serious users evaluate their potential savings based on their hourly wage; the efficiency gains generated by purchasing this subscription will pay for itself shortly.

What is OpenArt's most popular pricing tier?

It isn’t always easy to identify what plan OpenArt feels is their “most popular” based on their marketing materials alone, however, the data does support the notion that OpenArt views the Infinite Plan as the ideal solution for serious professionals and therefore recommends this plan. Our data shows that the Infinite Plan hits an appealing level for a dedicated and high-value group of creators. With 24,000 credits per month, the Infinite Plan offers a large jump in capacity and thus removes the credit limitations associated with the lower-tier plans (Essential and Advanced). Furthermore, the Infinite Plan maximizes the speed by allowing for up to 32 concurrent generations at once, a feature that is critical for a professional content creator, where time is money.

In our view, the combination of high volume and maximum velocity is the reason that this plan attracts power users and small business owners. In addition to providing the maximum capacity and speed, the Infinite Plan also includes Priority Support and unlimited use of select models; these two features are the final incentive that provides professional users with confidence in both their ability to complete tasks and the reliability of their ability to do so.

Based on the above information, we feel that the Advanced Plan is probably the most popular plan among freelancers because of the relatively low cost per month ($14.50), whereas we believe that the Infinite Plan is the superior “most popular” plan for those who are willing to commit to the platform.

How can I get the most out of my OpenArt membership?

Getting the most out of your OpenArt membership is all about blending smart feature utilization with strategic cost management. Since you're looking to optimize your investment, we recommend focusing on three core areas: long-term commitment, feature efficiency, and leveraging immediate discounts.

  1. Lock in cost savings with the annual commitment: If you are using the platform consistently, the single best financial move is to shift from monthly to annual billing. OpenArt typically offers a substantial discount, we think this is usually around 15% to 20% compared to paying month-to-month. This locks in a lower price and future-proofs your budget against potential rate hikes.

  1. Use our exclusive promo code: Don't miss out on the current promotional offer. You can instantly benefit from a 15% discount on OpenArt’s monthly plans for one full year.

  1. Evaluate your plan usage for optimization: We strongly suggest you review your feature consumption every few months. If you find you are not utilizing the high-end capabilities, like the full capacity for Consistent Characters or Personalized Models, or if you have a significant credit rollover, consider switching to a lower-cost pricing plan. Paying for features you don't use is the number one way to waste money in SaaS, in our opinion.

  1. Prioritize base features over extensions: While OpenArt offers powerful add-ons, try to maximize the efficiency of the features included in your base pricing plan first. For example, master the advanced prompt controls before relying on purchasing expensive credit packs or external model extensions.

Do my OpenArt credits rollover each month?

The short answer is yes, your OpenArt credits do rollover each month on the paid subscription tiers. This policy is a huge win for creators, and we think it shows OpenArt understands the reality of creative work, it's rarely a perfectly consistent month-to-month endeavor. Here’s why the credit rollover is so important and how it benefits your production flow:

  1. Flexibility for project spikes: We recommend you view your credit bank as a savings account. If you have a slow month, those unused credits don't vanish; they accumulate, allowing you to handle massive, credit-intensive projects (like training a new personalized model or generating a long video sequence) the following month without needing an immediate top-up.

  1. Optimal budgeting: This feature is essential for strategic budgeting. You can confidently purchase an Advanced or Infinite plan knowing that if you fall short of the 12,000 or 24,000 credit limit one month, you aren't wasting money.

  1. Focus on quality, not volume quotas: In our opinion, the rollover removes the pressure to generate low-quality filler just to use up credits before the renewal date. You can focus your energy and resources purely on the highest quality, most impactful creations.

  1. Team plan benefits: For those on a Team plan, the rollover applies to the pooled credits, which is absolutely critical for agencies that have varying client demands throughout the year.

This rollover policy makes an OpenArt subscription much more reliable as a professional tool, in our view.
