You will have access to 5 GB of storage and some amount of monthly generative credits; this should be plenty for casual users. There are a few downsides — specifically, every time you try to edit something in the free plan you will get watermarks on most high-end features and there will be only so many fonts to choose from. The free plan is good for getting used to the layout of the application, however, using a consistent look & feel to your brand is going to require either a higher level plan or the purchase of a single asset at a time. This is the “power user” option if you wish to utilize partner models (OpenAI, Google, etc.) in the Adobe Ecosystem. However, when you create content every day, I think the Premium Plan at $9.99/month is one of the greatest Return On Investments (ROI) that a Software As A Service (SaaS) has ever offered.
I would recommend the Premium Plan mainly because of the "Workflow Multiplier Effect." I believe that 250 AI Credits and the capability to resize a single design into ten social formats are worth the $10 dollars alone. However, I believe the true value of the Premium Plan lies in the access to the Adobe Stock photo library. When you compare that bundled access to the standalone cost of professional stock libraries like those offered by Shutterstock, the value proposition becomes even more obvious.
