01 Is ElevenLabs any Good? My expert Review
Eleven Labs has totally changed the way I produce audio content in the last six months. Their voice quality is unbelievable, the best AI voice I have ever heard. As I was making training videos for my international team based on different time zones, I didn’t want to record a lot of takes late at night, so I made voice overs in minutes and saved a tremendous amount of time.
Another thing that impresses me is the voice cloning feature, I cloned my own voice to make intro and outro for my podcasts, I don’t have to set up my recording equipment every time I do a podcast. I also use it to localize my marketing campaigns to Spanish and French, so I could keep my brand voice consistent throughout all of those languages.
However, it’s not perfect. If you’re generating large amounts of content, the pricing will increase dramatically, I burned through my character limits much quicker then I thought I would during a product launch campaign. Also, although their emotional expression and intonation is excellent, there are times when you’ll receive awkward pauses or a slightly robotic sentence construction that you’ll need to regenerate. There aren’t many advanced editing options available in this application either, I have to export the file to another software program to fine tune my edit.
For anybody who produces regular audio content such as podcasts, audiobooks or video narration, I believe ElevenLabs offers an incredible amount of value for the money, regardless of some minor shortcomings.

I’ve been using ElevenLabs for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of the most impressive AI tools I’ve tried. The voice quality is incredibly realistic. sometimes it’s hard to tell it’s not a real person. What I really like is the emotional control and clarity in different tones, which makes it perfect for videos, storytelling, or ads. The interface is also pretty clean and easy to use, even if you’re not super technical. There are still a few small limitations depending on the plan, but overall, it’s a powerful tool that keeps getting better.

The most astonishing AI voice on the market
ElevenLabs really impressed me from the very first uses. The quality of the speech synthesis is honestly above what I had tested before, the voices sound natural and the emotions come across really well, which is rare. I mostly use it for voice-overs on personal projects and some professional content, and the result is often striking. Where it falters a bit is the pricing : the free plan is very limited and you quickly hit the character cap, which forces you to switch to paid quite fast (unless you take the great offer from secret ! ;) On the other hand, in terms of reliability it's really excellent - for my part I used voice cloning, super simple and really good, as well as conversational AI for voice agents, and for basic use the features are more than sufficient. Honestly, if you need professional-quality AI voices, it's clearly one of the best options available today. A tool I wish I'd known much earlier!
