Experiencing Premium Service with Birdeye: A Worthwhile Investment
I'm currently enjoying a premium package with Birdeye, which is slightly more than the basic price, but it's absolutely worth it for the value it provides! They've been so attentive to my needs, even going as far as to refund one of my payments when there was a minor hiccup. I'm eagerly awaiting a further £5 credit, which I'm confident they'll process soon. It's a bit of a thrill trying to get in touch with their busy team, but it's all part of the exciting journey with this dynamic software!

Birdeye compared to Influitive
Influitive has better positive reviews compared to Birdeye: 98 vs 95
Influitive is better at customer service than Birdeye: 5.0 vs 4.5
Birdeye is more versatile than Influitive: 139 vs 134
Why is Birdeye a good alternative to Influitive?
I find Influitive a compelling alternative to Birdeye mainly because of its unique approach to customer advocacy and engagement. Unlike Birdeye, Influitive focuses on turning customers into active promoters of your brand. Their platform is specifically designed to encourage customers to write reviews, make referrals, and share their positive experiences on social media. This not only helps in building a strong online reputation but also enhances customer loyalty.
Moreover, Influitive offers a gamified experience that motivates customers to engage more. They can earn points, badges, and rewards for their participation, making the process more enjoyable. Additionally, its robust analytics tools provide valuable insights into customer behavior and campaign performance. While Birdeye is great for managing online reviews, I believe Influitive's broader approach to customer engagement can deliver more long-term benefits.
What are the differences between Birdeye and Influitive?
I have found that Influitive and Birdeye are both excellent platforms for managing customer experience but they do serve different purposes. Influitive is primarily an advocate marketing platform, focusing on turning customers into advocates who can promote the brand. It provides tools for creating engaging advocate marketing campaigns, offering rewards and recognition for customer advocates.
Alternatively, Birdeye is a reputation management platform that helps businesses collect and manage customer reviews. It offers features like review monitoring, review generation, and review marketing. Its primary focus is on improving a business's online reputation and visibility by leveraging the power of customer reviews.
So, while both platforms are about enhancing the customer experience, Influitive does this by fostering brand advocacy and Birdeye does it by managing and improving online reputation.

Act-On: A Game-Changer for Successful Marketing Campaigns
Using Act-On as a marketing automation tool has been a game changer for my marketing campaigns. When I first started using it, I realized that my organization wasn't as efficient as I thought. Act-On pushed me to reevaluate my campaigns, their structure, and my expectations. For the first time, I was able to effectively segment and target my audience, leading to a significant increase in my opening and click rates. I was able to generate more interest by sending relevant content to my audience, resulting in more qualified and interested leads. Act-On allowed me to track my audience and create reports on my tasks and projects, such as events, webinars, and digital campaigns. It has become an essential part of my marketing tech-stack. However, it's important to clearly define your needs and goals before using Act-On. It's a powerful tool for building segmentation, automated programs, and nurturing programs, and it can be integrated with many other tools. It took me a few months to fully understand and utilize its features.

Act-On compared to Influitive
Influitive has more positive reviews than Act-On: 98 vs 86
Influitive is better at support than Act-On: 5.0 vs 4.5
Influitive is easy to use compared to Act-On: 4.5 vs 4.0
Influitive pricing plans are more competitive than Act-On: 4.5 vs 3.9
Influitive has more functions than Act-On: 134 vs 102
Why is Act-On a good alternative to Influitive?
I believe Influitive is a great alternative to Act-On because it puts a unique spin on marketing automation by focusing on advocacy marketing. Unlike Act-On, which is more of a general marketing automation platform, Influitive enables businesses to turn their best customers into brand advocates. This approach can generate more organic and genuine engagement and leads.
Additionally, Influitive offers a user-friendly interface with a gamified experience for customers. This makes it more engaging and appealing for users. Plus, Influitive's capacity for personalization allows businesses to cater to their advocates in a way that feels more personal and less automated than some other platforms.
Lastly, Influitive also provides robust analytics tools, giving businesses the ability to track the success of their advocacy marketing efforts in real-time. These features make Influitive a compelling alternative to traditional marketing automation platforms like Act-On.
What are the differences between Act-On and Influitive?
As a user of both Influitive and Act-On, I can confidently say that these two software vary significantly in their functionality and purpose. Influitive is primarily an advocacy marketing platform which allows businesses to tap into their existing customer base to drive new leads, reviews, referrals, and more. It’s all about maximizing customer engagement and loyalty.
On the other hand, Act-On is a comprehensive marketing automation tool. It's designed to manage and optimize all stages of the customer experience, from lead generation to customer retention. It offers functionalities like email marketing, landing page creation, CRM integration, and analytics. So, while Influitive focuses on leveraging current customers for advocacy, Act-On is more about managing and automating marketing efforts across the customer lifecycle.

Fast Adoption & Simple Workflow Automation
We switched to Slack from Microsoft Teams for one department and the adoption was much faster than I expected. People understood channels and reactions right away, and workflow builder has been surprisingly useful for simple request processes. It is not perfect for long-form documentation, but for day-to-day coordination it is solid

Why is Slack a good alternative to Influitive?
As a user, I find Influitive to be a compelling alternative to Slack due to several reasons. Firstly, Influitive focuses on advocating marketing, which allows businesses to turn their customers into brand advocates. This is a feature that Slack doesn't offer. Secondly, Influitive provides a more personalized experience since it allows for gamification, rewards, and challenges to engage users. This makes it more interactive and fun compared to the more business-oriented Slack.
Moreover, Influitive offers robust integration with other marketing tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, and Eloqua, making it easier to align all your marketing efforts. Finally, its interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate even for non-technical users. Hence, if your objective is beyond just communication and includes customer engagement and advocacy marketing, Influitive could be a better choice than Slack.
What are the differences between Slack and Influitive?
As a user of both Influitive and Slack, I've noticed several key differences between the two software. Influitive is primarily a marketing platform that helps businesses mobilize their advocates to boost referrals, references, reviews, case studies, and more. It's all about building a community of loyal customers and turning them into brand advocates.
Conversely, Slack is a team collaboration tool, designed to facilitate communication within teams or organizations. It provides various features such as instant messaging, file sharing, and integrations with other tools like Google Drive or Trello. Slack is not specifically aimed at marketing or customer advocacy, but rather at improving productivity and communication within teams.
So in essence, while both are useful business tools, they serve very different purposes: Influitive focuses on external customer engagement and marketing, while Slack focuses on internal team collaboration and communication.

Three Years and Still Thriving with Disciple!
Honestly, my experience with Disciple has been fantastic. I work closely with their team and feel like I'm part of their community, having a say in the improvements being made. This company is truly amazing and outshines many others that use a more generic approach. What I appreciate most is that Disciple provides a real solution for having my own native app without the need to spend a fortune. Working with the Disciple team has been a great experience. They are genuinely there to support me as a client. I have a dedicated success manager who assists me with regular needs such as compliance and updates with Apple and Google Play. As a smaller company, the rate of new feature releases is slow, but I've found it's worth the wait. They listen to my feedback, and I've seen many of the features I requested being implemented.

Cancelling our vacation due to a tragic loss: A review on Rock software.
The software was a bit overwhelming with all the evidence it required. It was difficult for me to handle some of the questions while I was still grieving. I assumed a letter from the hospice would suffice as evidence, but it didn't. Perhaps a more compassionate approach would have been better. However, I understand that it's a corporate company with profits to make. After weeks of emailing, I finally received a partial refund of our £2 holiday money due to the excess to be paid. It was not a pleasant experience, especially during such a difficult time.

Poor Configuration - Monthly Time-Waster
I use Mighty Networks for our training platform and have previously mentioned the challenges we've faced. A new issue is that every month, as the billing contact, I receive an email notifying me of the charge but not the invoice. Despite my repeated requests for them to send the invoice directly, they insist that I log into their platform and navigate through several steps to download it. The process is so convoluted that I waste significant time each month. No other supplier operates this way. Despite their claims of viewing feedback as a learning opportunity and wanting to improve their service, I believe this is just marketing jargon. I don't trust their responses to negative feedback as it seems to be empty rhetoric. They either disregard feedback or their software team is too dysfunctional to implement changes despite the requests of their customer service team.

Quirky yet Ideal for Small Businesses
Once I became familiar with the terminology, I found Referral-Rock to be quite user-friendly and it seemed to have all the features I needed without being too costly. However, I encountered several glitches when working with text, such as selecting fonts and sizes, adjusting spacing, etc. I often had to find alternative solutions when setting up the member and referral pages, and I was never able to achieve the exact look I wanted. If I indented anything, it would automatically insert quotations somewhat below the text. Despite these issues, everything else seemed to work fine. However, given the importance of text setup to the overall message, I believe more focus should be placed on improving this functionality. Selecting text size was particularly frustrating as there was no way to know exactly what size I was choosing. The vendor responded to my feedback, stating they plan to overhaul the program editors in the next month or so.
