PageMaker allows users to create high-quality print layouts for projects such as brochures, newsletters, and flyers. PageMaker provides publishing solutions that make it easier to complete tasks for both an individual graphic designer as well as a small business. Both companies licensed PageMaker in the late 1980's into the 1990's. PageMaker was widely adopted in this period. PageMaker represents an early effort to combine ease-of-use with an expanded use as a publishing application that was designed for modern publishing, along with a publishing program.
