I particularly value Qlik Sense's ability to incorporate artificial intelligence into my data visualization process, improving my reporting capabilities. This integration has minimized cognitive biases in my analyses and visualizations, simplified the discovery of data intelligence, and automated the connection between natural language interactions and search queries. However, I often find that uploading large datasets can be slow and does not meet my expectations for a quick upload.

Qlik Sense: The Ultimate Speedster in Data Analytics

Previously, I was using Qlikview, but after switching to Qliksense, I saw a significant improvement in our reports. I specifically use it to analyze the evolution of adoption based on the licensing and features each client uses from the solutions we sell. We use various APIs to integrate the platform with others, pulling out information to associate and generate necessary reports and graphics. The best part about Qliksense is its ability to quickly analyze and associate large volumes of data. This platform allows us to conduct all kinds of analysis in a short time, saving us many work hours. We can even automate weekly reports by linking the databases with the information source. Honestly, I don't see any downsides to this platform. It's robust, secure, and easy to use and configure. We switched to Qlik Sense due to the significant advantages it offered, including its rapid response time.

It's a great tool for developers due to its extensive code customization capabilities compared to other visualization dashboards. However, its development has been lacking in recent years compared to other tools. It's also more expensive than other visualization tools. I chose Qlik Sense because it integrates well with SAP ERP.

Top-tier BI Tool for Handling Massive Data Volumes

I use Qlik Sense due to its ability to handle large volumes of data in our apps, which consist of millions of rows. However, I find the support from Qlik frustrating and often end up paying our partner for support. I also use a third-party add-on called Vizlib, which significantly enhances Qlik, though it's unfortunate that it's necessary. Despite these issues, I would still recommend Qlik and would consider using it again in my future company. Qlik Sense enables us to easily connect data from various sources with minimal effort. We've deployed over 40 apps to our business, which are used by hundreds of users across all departments. It allows us to easily display both detailed and summary information for all our data sets. However, I believe Qlik should invest more in allowing users to better format the visualizations and text within the tables and charts. We had to purchase Vizlib to improve the aesthetics. We chose Qlik Sense over Tableau.

Appreciating Qlik Sense, Yet Leaning Towards Power BI

I prefer using Qlik or Power BI to present information rather than using pivot tables or dashboards in Excel. These tools help me narrate data-driven stories, enabling a deeper understanding and a logical sequence. I wish there were more visualization options, like divisions between graphs or tables, and predefined layouts for visually appealing tables and graphs. I find Qlik desktop challenging to use, so I prefer using Qlik Sense online. I've encountered issues using it on my personal computer, but it works well on my work computer. Qlik View is a potent tool that simplifies dashboard sharing, eliminating the need for others to install any programs or apps. The online Qlik Sense app is incredibly handy as it doesn't require a desktop installation and can be used on any computer. It's user-friendly, and if you're familiar with Excel, you can learn how to use Qlik with a brief tutorial. I chose Qlik Sense because, even though I prefer Power BI for its aesthetics.
