Top-tier Resource Management Solution: SAP Business ByDesign
I've been using the SAP resource management tool for over three years and it's one of the best employee performance management tools I've come across. It allows each employee to easily input their tasks based on their job description and track their performance throughout the year. Each task can be individually rated, which is helpful during line manager reviews. The system is accessible from anywhere and easy to implement. However, we sometimes experience delayed responses during the year-end review process when many employees are using the system, possibly due to connectivity issues. Despite this, the system is very user-friendly and easy to access. I chose SAP Business ByDesign because it's the most capable system to meet our company's needs. We switched to SAP Business ByDesign from our previous system which couldn't handle our new requirements.

SAP: A Long-Term Commitment
Using SAP Business ByDesign feels like being in a relationship. Initially, I was impressed by its comprehensiveness and how it catered to all my needs. However, as my requirements evolved, the software struggled to keep pace. I found myself investing significant time and money to make it perform all the tasks I needed. Eventually, I became reliant on it, but had to resort to Excel for tasks it couldn't handle, as I was reluctant to spend more time or money on it. I even contemplated investing in other software that wasn't compatible with SAP. I ended up using both, simply because I already had them, until I grew weary. It felt like leading a double life. Despite everything, I still have a fondness for SAP and couldn't imagine my work life without it. It has everything I need and more. It's well integrated throughout the company and enables me to manage all company records at any given time. However, the graphs leave much to be desired. If I need a dashboard or a simple presentation, I have to export.

I highly recommend our management system, SAP Business ByDesign, for any company in need of a multi-functional ERP for 10 to 999 users. The product is incredibly user-friendly and comes with ready-to-use mobile applications. It has all the necessary pre-set functions for a midsize company, including project management, contract management, field service operations, manufacturing, accounting, finance, built-in analytics, AP, AR, inventory, CRM, SRM, and supply chain. It's a well-packaged product with a great vision, scalable from 10 to 999 users. It's robust, stable, and has been around for over 12 years, benefiting from SAP's 42+ years of experience in ERP Suites. Although I would prefer tighter integration with other SAP products, we can now use the SAP CLOUD PLATFORM to connect everything and utilize RPA functions. I chose SAP Business ByDesign for its robustness, ease of use, functionalities, and SAP CLOUD and SAP HANA capabilities.

Simpler than Standard SAP Software
I believe SAP Business ByDesign is satisfactory but requires enhancements in performance and features. It's simple to install and offers numerous applications, coupled with a user-friendly interface. It provides decent finance features, but it falls short when compared to SAP on-premise due to its limited features and scope. I've observed that other cloud solutions outperform this one.
