Based on my role as a Confluence expert, I can confidently say that Confluence is highly effective in promoting team collaboration and project management. I have used it a lot in agile projects, along with Jira! I have experienced how it is good at facilitating communication across teams. For example, I recently led a team for a software development project and we heavily utilized Confluence for documenting sprint retrospective, specifications for designs, and milestones in the project. Its integration with Jira really improved our efficiency and streamlined project management workflow.
One of my favourite things about Confluence is its flexibility to customize for different needs. One scenario involved a marketing team customizing the workspace for their needs with specific templates to track campaigns and creating content calendars. While not every customisation can be set up without additional plugins and/or addons, this is expected and common practice in the IT realm which enhances the user experience.
Even though I have positive things to share about Confluence, I do have some things to mention in the not-so-positive wrap-up! Sometimes customer support isn’t as responsive as it could be (it is annoying when there is a delay responding to account questions), and advanced features needed for advanced agile metrics may come with extra cost that makes it inaccessible for quite smaller teams or organizations that have tighter budgets.
All of that said, Confluence still delivers a value proposition better than all other project management, and collaboration platforms out there. For example, being able to improve the working relationship with cross-departmental team members on a project where, QA specialists, developers, and product managers, illustrating clarity and transparency was all made available through Confluence. Therefore, when teams are all better aligned, it leads to increased productivity and efficiency. Overall, Confluence is probably one of the best tools for any modern collaborative workspace.
Adaptability
Confluence is adaptable and can be customized to meet the specific needs of a team or project. While some users find it challenging to accomplish tasks without addons, these addons have become a standard in IT development, offering the flexibility to tailor the software to specific needs.

In our opinion, the biggest difference between the Notion and Confluence collaborative tools can be summed up in one word: Atlassian. If you use Atlassian software on a regular basis, then Confluence is highly relevant. If you don't, Notion is more flexible, even if it is more complex to learn. The main difference between the two lies in the situation of your team. If it has a good knowledge of teamwork tools and does not use Atlassian software, opt for Notion. If not, Confluence will be perfect.
Confluence's major difference, which is also its strength, is that it fits in perfectly with the tools offered by Atlassian. So if you're already using Jira, Jira Service Desk or BitBucket, you can make the most of this platform by integrating these different tools. This approach is ideal for optimizing your workflows designed around the software suite offered by Atlassian. Tracking tasks and agile projects or accessing multiple views becomes possible and fast if you connect Confluence with...

Slite and Confluence are two prominent collaboration tools designed to enhance productivity and streamline communication within teams. While both platforms offer similar functionalities, there are key differences that can guide your choice between the two.
One of the most notable distinctions is the user interface and overall user experience. Slite is celebrated for its clean, minimalist design, making it particularly user-friendly and easy to navigate. This simplicity allows team members to quickly create and organize notes, fostering seamless collaboration. Confluence, on the other hand, is known for its comprehensive feature set, which can offer more functionality but may come with a steeper learning curve for new users.
Scalability is another crucial factor to consider. Slite is well-suited for small to medium-sized teams looking for straightforward collaboration and knowledge-sharing solutions. Its cloud-based nature allows team members to access and edit documents from anywhere...

Document360 and Confluence are two top-tier knowledge management platforms, each catering to different organizational needs. Understanding their key differences will help you decide which solution fits best with your business requirements.
One of the main distinctions between Document360 and Confluence lies in their core focus. Document360 is a specialized knowledge base platform designed primarily for creating structured, self-service documentation. Its clean, intuitive interface simplifies content creation, categorization, and version control, making it ideal for teams focused on developing product documentation, user manuals, and help centers. The platform is purpose-built for companies needing a robust, stand-alone knowledge management solution with powerful features such as role-based access, in-depth analytics, and multi-language support.
Confluence, developed by Atlassian, is more of a general-purpose collaboration tool. While it can be used to manage knowledge bases, its...

Exploring the Unique Customer Service and Billing System of Confluence
I've found Confluence's customer service to be as unique as Etsy's. They stand firm on their policies, ensuring a consistent experience for all users. The billing system is quite meticulous; if you or someone else grants a person/agent access to the sites, you need to be specific about which site you're granting access to. If not, it will apply to all sites and automatically adjust the plan. For instance, three agents are free, but four agents will transition to the standard plan. This was a fascinating discovery when I first saw the bills and it prompted me to delve deeper into my usage history. It's quite an adventure navigating through their customer service!

Great Inside, Tough Exit: A Confluence Review
The tools provided by Confluence are excellent and I personally haven't encountered any problems when comparing it to the Zendesk tools we previously used. However, I do acknowledge that it's quite challenging to accomplish anything without addons, which is becoming a standard in IT development these days. The real issues begin when you attempt to close your account, which is rather difficult. Fortunately, the European data protection laws came to my rescue in this situation. If you're also having trouble deleting your Atlassian account because you're the billing contact for a free product, I recommend writing to their support and requesting deletion of the (free trial) products. After that, you should be all set.

Confluence Shines, Jira Falls Short!
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews! Jira is actually a decent tool, but the problem is that managers often don't know how to use it effectively and end up turning it into a tool for micro-management. However, Confluence is an excellent collaboration tool and I can't imagine my team functioning without it!

Transforming Project Management with Jira and Confluence
I initially thought that Jira and Confluence were only suitable for QA, but boy, was I wrong! These tools are absolutely fantastic for managing multi-task agile projects. We've implemented them across all our departments and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The kanban board, in particular, has been a game-changer for my team, aligning perfectly with our goals. The security settings, filters, and place setups are not only straightforward but also incredibly effective. I'm genuinely thrilled with how these tools have transformed our project management!

Jira Use: A Stroke of Bad Luck
I am unfortunate to use Jira at work and its ergonomics and ease of use are rapidly disappearing. I am unsure how the product owners decide on the software's evolution, but so far, I can only see a decline in ergonomics and quality.

Discovering the Innovation and Uniqueness of Confluence Software
This software is absolutely fantastic! It feels like they've taken inspiration from Microsoft Word, but added their own unique twist to it. It's as if their technical engineers are innovative thinkers, understanding the diverse ways in which we humans write. It's exciting to see how much you can achieve when you take the time to explore this software. It's one of the most unique software I've ever used. I'm amazed their stock price isn't through the roof!
