Revolutionized Our Business: Crafting Our Own Field App with Device Magic

I really like the user interface for creating our own forms in Device Magic. We've been able to create a complex form where specific sections appear based on previous responses. The interface during field collection is also great and continues to improve. However, we wish we could add multiple images at once, instead of one by one. Right now, we have to use the Google Drive app for this. They've assured me that this feature is in their development plans. The dispatching app's user interface is functional, but not as user-friendly as the form building tools. I believe improvements for this are also planned. The vendor responded positively, confirming they are in the early stages of creating a multiple image question type and updating their interface throughout the dashboard. They advised me to check their monthly newsletters for updates on new product releases, timeframes, and access to beta features.

My clients in the food industry find Device Magic to be an excellent tool for maintaining comprehensive and accurate records without the need for paper. The more I use it, the more I value its features. It's user-friendly, easy to teach others, versatile, and provides excellent traceability of entries. However, understanding some field options requires a deep understanding of their functionality - the online guidance often falls short. This is unfortunate, as mastering these options unlocks their true potential. I chose Device Magic because it met my needs and seemed to be evolving rather than stagnating. The vendor responded positively to my feedback about their online support documentation for field options, indicating their intention to enhance their how-to guides.

Device Magic: A Data Capture Powerhouse Designed for Real-World Efficiency

I tested several data capture apps due to some critical needs I had, all of which had good form creation features and data types, similar to Device Magic. However, what distinguishes Device Magic is its automation after data collection, which eliminates the need for 1 or 2 office workers. The field collection process is also very quick, with excellent geostamp and timestamp features. I was amazed by the speed and accuracy of the barcode reader. The deciding factor for me, however, was the automation process. Everything from creating a PDF, storing in a database, to sending emails is automated. Device Magic quickly met all my needs. I'm eager to see how it performs in full production status. It offers some interesting question types for the Enterprise plan, which is a bit pricier. I chose Device Magic for its automation capabilities and ease of implementation.

Outstanding for Data Gathering in Offline Mode

As a field service representative, I've found Device Magic extremely useful in various locations. Its ability to collect data offline is essential in places with limited wifi or cell coverage like buildings, basements, and rural areas. I value the range of integrations it offers, even though some are restricted. Using 'live' data as a source within the forms can be a bit challenging. I opted for Device Magic because it was the only product offering offline support. The vendor was responsive to my feedback, particularly about their Live Resource options, assuring me that my needs will guide future feature development. They also recognized that the offline functionality has been a major benefit for field service representatives like myself.
