Unfit for Mobile Use
I think Sage Business Cloud Accounting is quite good, particularly when properly set up from the beginning. It successfully connects your cloud accounting with your bookkeeper's Sage 50, which is beneficial if they like working with spreadsheets and you prefer it on a cloud. However, it doesn't function on any tablet I've used, including iPad and Fire tablet, and the product shortlisting feature doesn't work, rendering it useless for mobile. Also, the lack of a feature to print receipts for payments on multiple invoices is very frustrating.

Outstanding Efficiency and Value for Small Non-Profits with Sage Accounting
As a small non-profit, we were hoping that Sage Accounting would simplify our data input process and improve the quality of our financial information. The software has indeed saved us at least two days of work each month. It's very user-friendly, which is perfect for those with limited financial knowledge. The feature that links bank accounts has made our month-end bank reconciliations quick and accurate, saving us a significant amount of time. Although the reporting section doesn't perfectly meet our needs, it's still very useful. We chose Sage Accounting because it's a market leader and we've had positive experiences with Sage products in the past.

Sage Cloud Accounting: Reliable, Accessible, and User-Friendly
I find the Sage Business Cloud Accounting software reliable and efficient, with minimal errors since we transitioned to the cloud. I value the convenience of logging in from anywhere and the simplicity of invoicing and allocating receipts and payments directly from bank statements. However, I've observed that the stock system doesn't integrate well between stock holdings, values, and the balance sheet. Additional modules are needed for this basic function, but they don't always rectify the issue, resulting in continuous reconciliation of stock to balance the Inventory Valuation to the Inventory Ledger. I also think the project management systems could be enhanced for better tracking of individual and multiple projects in an income statement. I chose Sage Accounting because I was familiar with the company and their support, and I prefer their method of storing transactions. They also have a South African Support base. The primary reason for switching to Sage Accounting was the need for cloud accessibility from multiple locations and the ability to collaborate with our clients.
