01 Is Wave Accounting any Good? My expert Review
Having played around with enough financial tools over the years, I recently decided to check out Wave Accounting to see if it really does live up to its reputation for freelancers. Overall I have to say I am impressed. Wave cuts through the noise of complicated accounting terminology and focuses on simple implementation. Getting started was incredibly easy; I had the account created, my invoices created, and my payments tracked in a matter of minutes without having to have a Masters in Finance.
One of my more memorable cases involved a freelance graphic designer who was so overwhelmed with delayed payments and disorganized records. Once she transitioned to Wave, her invoicing became straightforward. Payments started to come in quickly to her bank account, and her cash flow immediately improved and allowed for better financial decision-making with regard to her future.
That said, Wave does have its weaknesses. For example, I was helping a small retailer who desired detailed inventory tracking and some advanced reporting. We quickly realized Wave would not be able to meet her needs, and we had to piece together an additional software solution to serve her other needs. Also, I had a few issues with syncing her bank account which led to her having to make a manual effort to reconcile transactions - not much fun.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Wave Accounting to freelancers or solo entrepreneurs that are looking for an intuitive, straightforward, and free accounting solution. Since it is free and customizable, I would recommend it to anyone just starting out or penny pinching. Sure there are times I thought customer service could be better, but overall Wave has solid functionality in a user-friendly suite.

Experiencing Professionalism and Transparency with Wave Accounting
Absolutely love Wave Accounting! These guys are truly professional. They took all my banking information and personal ID, and promptly got down to business. When a client made a payment, the funds were returned and I was informed that my account status has changed. They then guided me to section G in their policy that I had agreed to when creating the account. I was initially surprised when they stopped my online payments, but then I realized it was probably for a good reason. I appreciate their commitment to following their policies to the letter. It's reassuring to know that they're so thorough and transparent in their operations. I'm excited to see where my personal information will be utilized to enhance my experience with them. Wave Accounting: Unbeatable in Simplicity and Efficiency
My experience with Wave Accounting has been outstanding and I wouldn't think of using another program. Our administrative staff has managed to use the software with minimal training. We absolutely adore it and plan to keep using it. Wave is a simple accounting program that allows us to create invoices, receive payments, view and print reports, and monitor money owed to us. We use this software for all our accounting and bookkeeping needs. It's incredibly user-friendly and its product support is superior to other accounting programs. There's nothing we dislike about this software. We chose Wave over other products due to its positive reviews and the ease of setting up our business on it. It meets all our needs and more. The main reason we switched to Wave was its cost. Other reasons include its simplicity and ease of use.
