01 Is WhatsApp any Good? My expert Review
Without a doubt, WhatsApp is probably my biggest way of contacting other people, in particular for trying to plan family functions with family members overseas, and is the easiest option for everyone to use, and even got my parents onboard who are not really technologically savvy and feel much happier using a digital message app. The end to end encryption is also a nice added feature.
That being said, don't get me wrong, I am not saying it is all cherries, one of the challenges of using WhatsApp is that you cannot log out on my iPhone, so it becomes cumbersome to leave work WhatsApp discussions alone, even when I am in down time! I will say that the experience of having to look for an older document or old photographs is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
In summary, WhatsApp has continually developed over app updates, being able to send different stickers and reactions has made it fun, and I have never complained that I have sent voice notes when I've been multi-tasking. I think WhatsApp is simple and with it's clever features, it helps me stay in touch, and I can not imagine my life without it being a part of my everyday life, I simply accept the small inconveniences it has with it's normal operation.

Banned After Switching Mobile Phones
I switched my SIM from one phone to another and my account was banned, despite not violating any policies. I appealed several times through the app but received no response and the ban remained. Even after getting a new number from my mobile operator, my account was still banned. I was disappointed with the poor service from WhatsApp. I understand that as a free service, I can't expect much support. However, I believe it's wrong for the company to claim they offer support for free users when they don't. I think such companies should be held accountable for their misleading practices. Update: I eventually found a customer support email and sent them an explanation of my issue. WhatsApp responded two days later, removed the ban, and I was able to register my number and use the app normally again. I've updated my rating to 3 stars because I believe they should make their customer support email more accessible, instead of making me search for it for hours.

I received an unexpected call from Iran through WhatsApp, which was quite surprising as I don't personally know anyone from there. I promptly reported this to WhatsApp and their response was swift. I appreciate their efforts to maintain a secure platform. Nowadays, I find myself using WhatsApp even when it's not the only way to contact a company, which has happened more than a couple of times. I've found it to be a reliable and convenient communication tool. I've even considered deleting my other accounts, as I did before, because I find myself trusting and relying on WhatsApp more and more.

Overall, my experience with WhatsApp has been very positive. We started using it for group communications in our company projects and I've always been satisfied with its ease of use. I've recommended it to many of our clients for chatting and other needs. Generally, the software works well for me, but I find it frustrating when I have to set up a new version of WhatsApp as it sometimes prevents some messages from appearing.
