To my surprise, I had to wait a week for my day-2 result. This gave me ample time to reflect on the importance of these tests and the role they play in tracking new variants. It was a bit of a thrill, chasing results and interacting with customer service agents who were still learning the ropes. The delay, while initially seeming like an inconvenience, actually highlighted the importance of these tests. It made me realize that my flatmate and I are part of a larger community effort to prevent the spread of the virus. I believe this lab should be recognized for its efforts, even if there are areas for improvement. I see this as a learning curve for them and I plan to provide constructive feedback to the relevant authorities.
