Outstanding LMS and Company - Truly a Business Leader
One of the things that made Cornerstone stand out from other LMS vendors was its company culture, which closely mirrored ours. I was particularly impressed by their communication, support, and resources. After we chose Cornerstone, we were given ample time to learn how to manage the LMS and test things in a pilot environment before transitioning to production. Even a year later, we still have quarterly check-ins with our support specialist, Jamie. In addition to our support specialist, the Cornerstone community provides a plethora of resources such as help topics, discussion groups, webinars, and release emails about new features. With Cornerstone, I never feel alone, they provide an excellent product and excellent support. However, like any LMS, there's a lot to learn and manage, so the ramp-up does take time. We've also tried to figure out workarounds for certain issues, like SCORM 2004 reporting. We wanted to create a custom report, but couldn't do it within.

Mix of Pros and Cons
As a user, I find Cornerstone Recruiting mostly intuitive, but it can be complex from an administrator's perspective. The software is powerful if your organization's processes and data align with its design. I like the reporting options it provides. However, as we are in higher education, we had to modify a lot to make it work for us, often leading to subpar results. Also, it lacks several common sense features that I would expect from such a system.

Cornerstone: Impressively Comprehensive, Yet Occasionally Challenging
In my review of Cornerstone products used by my organization, including Core, Connect, Learning, and Recruiting, I find Cornerstone to be an excellent product with unbeatable support. I admire its commitment to constant self-improvement, with regular updates and enhancements. The support is widely accessible in various formats and I often use the Ask the Expert forum on the Cornerstone Success Center, receiving responses within an hour. I also appreciate Suggestion City, a platform for suggesting improvements. However, I sometimes feel that Cornerstone tries to do too much, overlooking some details. I also think that while it aims to be user-friendly for the end-user, it neglects the ease of use for content implementers. The content implementation can sometimes be counter-intuitive and confusing if you don't think like a programmer.
