After using Greenhouse ATS extensively, I found it very effective for simplifying recruitment, especially in larger companies. Its intuitive interface and customizable scorecards made it easy for teams to adapt quickly and keep hiring standards consistent.

I find Greenhouse useful for mapping out a recruitment journey in one place due to its intuitive features and easy processing between steps. It ensures consistency between interviews and plans, and allows for efficient hiring and deep analytics on the use of HR teams' time and performance. I also find it easy to post jobs and link multiple job posts to the same position internally. However, I don't think it's a good fit for small or midsize firms, it's more suited for large enterprises. The support is great initially, but not as helpful after execution. The pricing is annual and quite high, making it hard for me to justify the ROI for convenience on the HR team. The pricing is based on the size of the company rather than the use of the platform or feature set. The company tried to renew automatically within contract notification periods, without my prior confirmation, and expected higher contract terms without discussion. Exporting data is non-functional, leaving only resumes and not full details, notes, or other data my team may have created.

Greenhouse: A Deceptive Trap - Steer Clear!
I strongly discourage anyone from signing up with Greenhouse and trusting them during the sales process. They use predatory business tactics, baiting and switching customers. My experience with them was terrible and I urge others to avoid this company. We were misled about the billing structure, which was supposed to be monthly. The representative we interacted with was extremely abrupt and rude, even sending us to collections! We would never have chosen their service if we knew the billing was annually. We reached out to their team in September 2020 about the error, but they refused to make adjustments. I strongly urge you to steer clear of this company. One individual, in particular, should be deeply ashamed of her behavior. Greenhouse is operating a predatory business. We have since switched to Zoho Recruit, which is far superior, offering more features, monthly billing, and allowing for many more job posts. Choosing Greenhouse was a grave mistake, we were deceived into thinking they were a better, US-based company.
