01 Is Vagaro any Good? My expert Review
IN my experience assisting salons, spas, and wellness businesses, Vagaro has proven to be a reliable option to help accomplish daily tasks. Vagaro manages the scheduling and client management while allowing the employees to spend more time interacting with their clients than stuck doing paper work for the business. After I helped a spa transition to Vagaro, these areas were managed smoothly, in a way that alleviated congestion during traditional scheduling.
One feature that I can appreciate the most is Vagaro's support service. Anytime I've encountered an obstacle or needed assistance, their instant messaging has been fantastic and timely, especially for a small business that doesn't have an IT person on hand.
Unfortunately, Vagaro needs some work when it comes to its financial integrations. For example, during my time with a fitness studio, their QuickBooks integration was not specific enough which made financial reporting a complicated mess and we had to re-do some manual reporting. Also, trying to customize marketing emails or the website creation templates is too restricted. In fact, I had a yoga instructor experience difficulty creating newsletters and emails because the templates didn't allow for any imagination!
Nevertheless, even with the issues we encountered, we were excited about Vagaro's easy-to-learn interface and preset marketing functions to be a solid all-in-one option for businesses looking to increase sales and simplify their activities.

I appreciate how Vagaro combines essential features such as payment processing, email marketing, appointment scheduling, calendar and customer management, and review management into one platform. However, I've faced problems with clients attempting to book on their own. There have also been cases where certain features, like applying packages to appointments and clients viewing their service history and upcoming services, don't work properly.

I've been enjoying getting to know Vagaro, finding it easy to learn and exciting for the new tools it offers to optimize my business. I plan to expand using Vagaro and I appreciate their fantastic customer service chat option. It provides immediate answers, either from a chat bot or live agents, whenever I'm unsure about something. However, I wish Vagaro would improve their website templates and email communication options. I need to customize lists and create better-looking newsletter templates. I also expected Vagaro to help me get more referrals, but it hasn't. I chose Vagaro because I had used it before at a spa and was familiar with it. I had also used Boulevard, but found it less flexible.
