04 How Make compare to similar software?

The difference between make and n8n can be described as follows: Make will help get visual automation up and running faster than n8n; n8n will help create a system that will allow ops teams to automate workflows with a high level of control and flexibility.

If you are looking to let your ops team get an automation up and running fast and easily maintainable, use make. Using make allows you to build multi-step workflows with routing, filtering, transformation, and integrating without creating a "mini-software project".

If your workflows have characteristics similar to those of systems integration, internal api's, custom authentication, private networks, strict governance and/or complex failures then n8n will most likely be your best choice. n8n is often selected by tech teams due to its ability to offer greater flexibility and a variety of privacy options through self-hosting.

If you've ever thought "we want our automation to be versioned, audited, and deployed as we would a piece of...

  • Amaqzing product that could have a better price (for Brazil)

It's an amazing product and helped a lot to automate the workflows of my startup. Due the fact that I live in Brazil, the prices are high and it's not that use for people who doesnt know well the goals that want to achieve.

    HTTP Module Bridges Integration Gaps

The integration library is broad, but what I appreciate most is that the HTTP module fills the gaps when an app is missing something. I connected an internal tool to Airtable and Notion that way, and once it was set up, the maintenance was pretty low

    Advanced Automation Without Heavy Coding

I like that Make lets you get fairly advanced without forcing you into code right away. Mapping data between apps is mostly straightforward, and for cases where fields come in messy, the built-in functions for text, dates, and arrays are better than I expected

Joinsecret Pro Credits Make Testing Easy

We grabbed Make through Joinsecret, which gave us the first month on the Pro tier covered with 10,000 credits and a solid discount on the annual plan after that. Nice perk, but honestly the bigger win was getting enough room to test real scenarios before committing

Readable Complex Flows with Strong Debugging

Make is one of the few automation tools I’ve used where complex flows still stay readable. Error handlers, retries, and the ability to inspect bundles step by step have saved me a lot of time when APIs return weird data or rate limits kick in

Joinsecret Runway for Webhooks and Heavy Syncs

We also signed up via Joinsecret, so we got 10,000 Pro credits to start and a reduced rate on the yearly plan. I wouldn’t choose a tool only for a discount, but in this case it gave us enough runway to test heavier automations with webhooks and scheduled syncs before locking into a budget

Reliable Onboarding Automation with Useful Logs

My team uses Make for onboarding workflows, and it’s been reliable overall. New employee info comes from a form, then Make creates records, sends messages, and updates trackers automatically. The scenario logs are genuinely useful when someone asks, "Why didn’t this step happen?"

Joinsecret Deal Helps Launch Client Automations

I found Make through Joinsecret and the extra month on Pro plus the reduced annual price made it easier to justify trying it for a client project. It helped that we could build and monitor automations for Shopify, Gmail, and Google Sheets in one place without needing a developer for every change

Powerful Branching with Routers and Iterators

I started with Make for a few simple automations and ended up using it for finance ops too. The router and iterator modules are especially useful when you need to split one workflow into different paths or process line items from invoices one by one

Reliable Lead Routing with Great Scheduling & Logs

We use Make to move leads from Typeform into HubSpot, enrich them, and alert the sales team in Slack. The scheduling options are flexible, and the execution history is detailed enough that I can actually figure out why something failed instead of just guessing
